**** From April 22nd to April 24th, Year 6 had the chance to try and prove their proficiency at cycling. Over three days, the children were put through their paces in a range of common safety situations by John Roberts and his team.
**** On Thursday 18th April, we visited the SS Great Britain and the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol as part of our Brunel topic. We took part in a riveting workshop session, explored the boat and all braved crossing the bridge.
Here are Mr Sisson's

On Friday October 19th, Mr Sisson's class made a Roman soup after researching Roman banquets. Using Mrs Porter's recipe, they made enough for both Year 5/6 classes to try as well as Year 4 and some of the staff. They thought it was so delicious that they asked for the recipe to be put on the website and you can download it by clicking here

On Wednesday October 17, the Juniors visited Corinium Museum in Cirencester to find out about life in Roman Britain. They visited the Roman wall, took part in Roman activity workshops and explored the exhibits. It was great fun as you can see in this slideshow.
