Sports club will resume in January on a date to be confirmed.

If you are interested in joining one of the clubs, please see Mr Sisson. When you join a club you are making a commitment to attend every week. If you cannot attend, please inform the club organiser as soon as possible. It is your child's responsibility to have a suitable kit in school.

Callowell finish 2nd in the district

Through November, Callowell won all of their league games to top their group: 6.0 v Kings Stanley, 4.0 v Woodchester & 3.0 v Sheepscombe

This meant that on Thursday 1st December they went to play the finals. In their first game they defeated Bussage 7.2 and in their second game lost to a last minute goal to finish as runners up in the Stroud district.

Callowell win the Whiteshill Cricket Trophy

On Friday 14th October, Callowell went up to Whiteshill to play a Quick Cricket Match. After scoring 72 and taking an 18 run lead in the first innings, Callowell found the going tougher in the second innings, adding only a further 29. Whiteshill fought back well to finish on 96, 5 runs behind, so Callowell won the trophy in the inaugural match in the series.

Callowell win the Shipway Shield

On Thursday July 14th 2011, a Callowell team comprising Year 4, 5 & 6 pupils beat Cashes Green 2.1 to win the Shipway Shield. Congratulations to the whole team.

Inter-house School Sports Championships 2011

Each half term, all the children in each year group compete in their houses to win the individual sports championships. With 3 points for 1st place, 2 points for 2nd place and 1 point for 3rd place, we are able to crown the interhouse sports champions at the end of the school year.
