- Maths: We will begin our learning with a focus on measure and converting between different units of measure. We will continue working on different elements of measure and consolidate our learning on Fractions. We will finish the year with a unit on statistics.
- English: We will focus on the text The Closest Thing to Flying before then moving onto Cogheart in the second half of the summer term. These texts will feed into many different writing outcomes such as story writing, poetry and newspaper writing.
- Science: We will begin our Science learning by looking at Properties and Change before moving onto Growing Older.
- History: We will look at the history of Baghdad. Within these lessons, we will develop our historical skills of chronology, historical enquiry and how primary and secondary sources shape our understanding of the past.
- Geography: We will be learning all about Biomes and Vegetation.
- DT (Design and Technology): This term, we will be looking at electrical systems, making handmade switches.
- French: French this term will have a focus on school items, lessons and key vocabulary.
- PSHE: We focus on how we can best make and maintain healthy 'Relationships', alongside an awareness of how we will change as we grow older.
- Computing: Computing will allow us to make progress with our online safety knowledge as well as developing our knowledge in databases and concept maps.
- PE: Our PE learning this term will cover Cricket and Athletics.
- RE: We will be learning about how non-religious people understand and respond to the world and life, along with how different religious or individual beliefs help people when life becomes difficult.
- Music: Music for this term will give us the opportunity to begin improvising and composing with confidence of different notes that go together. We will also develop our class recorder skills.
