At our school, our four values shape the way we learn, work and grow together. They guide our actions, inspire our ambitions and create a culture where every pupil can choose a remarkable life.

Be big-hearted

At our school, we commit to being big-hearted. We choose to treat each other with kindness, warmth and care, believing that everybody matters and believing in one another.

Discover what’s possible

We look to create ‘eureka moments’ for our pupils, helping them discover a world of possibilities and opportunities.

Be unusually brave

As a Lift school, we choose to be unusually brave. We’re not afraid to challenge wrongs, to make the right call, even when it’s both unusual and difficult to do so.

Push the limits

We always strive to push the limits. We don’t settle for less than excellent and we won’t allow our pupils to either. We resolve to overcome any self-imposed limits.

The Callowell School Vision

Our vision is to nurture, support and inspire all our children so that they can thrive in every way.

Aims:

We are committed to creating a positive and caring environment where our children learn to be resilient, kind, curious and respectful to others and themselves.
We work hard to equip all our pupils with what they need to flourish in a diverse and ever changing world.
In addition to the vision and aims the school has 5 values which we support the children in understanding. The values are woven into our curriculum, are high profile around the school and celebrated whenever possible.

5 to Thrive

We use our '5 to Trive' values to promote a good behaviour and a positive attitude to learning. We encourage our children and staff to be part of team Callowell and to 'be their best every day.'
