At Callowell, our curriculum is designed to nurture and inspire every child to thrive in an ever-changing world. It provides strong foundations in core knowledge and skills, while fostering curiosity, creativity, and resilience.
We aim for all children to leave Callowell equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to succeed beyond our school community and to develop a life-long love of learning.
Our curriculum is built on strong foundations in the core subjects of English and Mathematics, ensuring every child develops essential knowledge and skills for future success. We place a particular emphasis on the Early Years, where communication and language are at the heart of learning. Through rich experiences and purposeful interactions, we help children become confident communicators, laying the groundwork for reading, writing, and problem-solving.
Learning is carefully sequenced with key milestones identified across all subjects. This ensures progression and coherence, enabling children to build on prior knowledge and deepen understanding as they move through the school.
