We are very much part of the school situated next to Reception Class which helps with a smooth transition into school. We have access to all the school facilities and a great outside space including a large field and woodland area which we love to explore.
We have a lovely inside space with our own kitchen facilities. We offer a wide range of activities that are exciting and engaging, giving children the opportunity to develop, grow and become independent learners whilst in a safe stimulating environment created by our experienced staff. We feel that it is important children are given the opportunity to foster their imagination and creativity.
At Callowell, parents often tell us how much they cherish the warm welcome and care their little ones receive from day one. We take immense pride in creating a gentle, nurturing home-away-from-home where every child feels safe, valued, and excited to learn.
During our July 2026 Ofsted inspection, inspectors highlighted the heart of what we do—noting how quickly children settle in, how much they thrive through our vibrant range of activities, and how confidently they get off to a positive start.By nurturing their natural curiosity, independence, and creativity, we ensure our youngsters leave early years happy, self-assured, and well prepared for the next step of their school journey.
We offer daily hot lunches for a small charge.We accept all government nursery funding and are open 5 days a week 8:45 – 15:00 offering full or half day sessions. For those wanting to just access their full entitlement, there is some flexibility is drop off and pick up times.
